Acharya Sri Sri Swami Sampadanda Guru Maharaj Ji visited Leela Temple Ashram in Deoghar in the year 1923 to take blessings from Brahm swaroop Bhagw anavtar Gruru dev Sri Sri Thakur Dayanand Devji. On 3rd October,1924,on the day of Karthik Durga Panchmi, he laid foundation stone of Trikutanchal Ashram. Acharya Sri Sri Swami Sampadanda Guru Maharaj had told that Sri Sri Thakur Dayanand Devji was reincarnation of Sri Sri Ramakrishna ”Paramhans” and had opportunity to discuss and listen to him on spiritual matters on several occasions. Trikutanchal Ashram is a place where believers can go to its meditation center and have divine experience for their heart soul & mind.

Deoghar is a quaint holy city beside the Mayurakshi River, in the East Indian state of Jharkhand. Among the major attractions of Deoghar are the Ancient Baba Baidyanath Temple complex (Manokamna & Dwadash Jyotir Kamna Ling) a significant Hindu pilgrimage site and one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of lord Shiva.
However, one of the most well kept secret of Deoghar is it’s ‘Trikut Pahar’ Barely 18 kms from district Deogarh, Dumka road, This place is yet another pilgrimage and tourist attraction known to very few tourist and visitors. This hill looks stunning when viewed from a height, surrounded by scenic waterfalls, lush green hills and many caves, Trikut Pahar is in the heart of a vast forest at a height of 2470 Feet above sea level, spread over 868 Hectares, it is emerging as one of the most sought pilgrimage and tourist destination of Jharkhand.
Trikut Pahar is mentioned in our Puranas as place for lord Shiva, comprises of three main peaks namely Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, in the month of Sawan-Badon (Sharwani Mela) thousands of people visit this srine and offer water to Lord Shiva at Baba Baidyanath Temple, seeking to fulfil their wishes. This place is also a preferred destination to many sadhus and saints to go for meditation or penance since time immemorial as per our ancient puranas.
Sri Sri Thakur Dayanand dev ji was born on 19thMay, 1881 in a Brahmin family in the village Vamai situated in District Silhet of Bangladesh. With eight Sidha Saints as ancestors, Sri Sri Thakur Dayanand Dev ji’s spiritual teachings are encapsulated in the sutra “Mata Ch Parvati Devi, Pita Devo Maheshwara, Manava: SarveSwadeshonBhuvanTrayam” in line with the concept of VasudhaivaKutumbakam and Parvati & Shiva as parents. During the British rule, there was unrest in the country. During this period Sri Sri Thakur Dayanand Devji came in contact with Sri Sri Swami Vivekanand Ji and learnt about the pathetic conditions of the Indians and took a vow to prepare a plan to spread a universal message to the mankind through meditation and make their lives happy and peaceful. For this, Sri Sri Thakur Dayanand Devji in 1903, set up the Arunachal Mission Ashram on the Tilain Hill in (Silchar),Assam. Acharya Sri Sri Swami Sampadanda ji seen Sri Sri Thakur Dayanand Dev ji as reincarnation of Sri Sri Ramakrishna “Paramhans” and had discussions with him on spiritual matters on many occasions. The harbinger of the universal peace, Sri Sri Thakur Dayanand Devji left his mortal body to merge with the Supreme on 28th July 1937.
Sri Sri Sampadanda ji was born on 14thSept.1899 in village Roshan Giri, Dist. Chittagong, Bangladesh and was named Sri Yadav Chandra Chakravarti by his father and mother, Mahamaya Devi. Since his early childhood, he was inclined towards religion and spirituality. He was well versed on Vedas, Upanishadas, Purans, but he read other religious books e.g. Holy Bible, he could speak in Indian and English language for hours during his discourse on religious subjects. In 1921 one of the British Custom officer had an opportunity to have listened to Swamiji, he was so impressed that he employed him in Department of Custom and ‘Custom Preventive Officer’. Sri Swami Sampadanda ji often used to travel to Dakshineshwar, the holy abode of Sri Ramkrishna Devji Paramhanshe used to study literature and follow his recommendations, Sri Sampadanda ji always felt the echo of a divine message in his mind- ”Submit your life in the service of God”. Life moved on for Swamiji, he was doing extremely well in his job, and received a promotion in the department of custom. One day morning he got up from his dream, and he realized that Swami Ram Krishana Parmamhans appeared in his dream and told him that he should put his life in pursuit of the highest truth for the mankind, not for worldly material gains. I shall initiate you in this spiritual pursuit this year.
The name of Acharya Swami Sampdanand” was bestowed upon him by Sri Thakur Dayanand Dev ji, on a predetermined day in the presence of all his disciples, who alsogave him saffron clothes to wear and blessed him for a new beginning.Thakur Dayanand Dev ji ordered him to live in penance for 53 years and survive on whatever fruitsand vegetables that grew on the Trikut Pahar. Swami Sampadandaji, after receiving blessings and the instructions from Thakur Dayanand Dev ji, began his journey of spiritualism on 3rdOctober1924.
For Sixtythree years, Swami Sampadanda ji remained engrossed in his sadhanaa and from 1946 -1956, he remained silent for ten years and during this period, the creator of this world Durgaji appeased by his penance, blessed him and said, “You will be a great personality and whosoever visits this place for darshan, will attain bliss by following the spiritual philosophy,
After initiating an Oriya devotee as his first follower in 1940, Swami Sampadanda Ji blessed thousands more who became his followers in West Bengal,Bihar,U.P. and with his disciples, travelled from Trikut Ashram to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Pashupatinath and many other places of pilgrimage in North & South India.
Sri Thakur Dayanand Devji spread the word of peace in the entire world by helping the fellow beings and he was blessed with Guru Bhakti .Acharya Sri Swami Sampadandaji followed his footsteps and is known as ‘Chaplan of world peace’.
On 25th June,1987 at 5.35 in the evening, AcharyaSri Swami Sampadandaji left for the heavenly abode but his presence is felt in Trikut Ashram even today, as if he is there to bless all his devotees!
Sri Maa Karunamayi Mata Bhakti PrabhaJi ‘Anchoress’ was born on 16th December 1939 in a well to do family at her maternal grandfather’s home at Hanuman Tekri, district Deoghar. Right from her early childhood, Sri Maa Bhakti PrabhaJi was inclined towards religious activities, worship and service. She visited Trikutanchal Ashram in the year 1950, with her maternal grandfather and there she came across Acharya Sri Swami Sampadanda ji. With the auspiciousand kind blessings of Swami SampadandaJi, Sri Maa Bhakti PrabhaJi received initiation into the order. After this in 1977, she received initiation into the Sanyasinorder,changed into a saffron attire and became a Sadhvi . She was given a spiritual name, Bhakti Prabha Devi. Sri Thakur Gurudev, impressed by her devotion and spirituality, declared his chief disciple Sri Sri Maa Bhakti Prabha as the inheritor of the spiritual legacy. She was blessed with the responsibility to manage and run the Trikutanchal Ashram and continue her prayers & worship for Universal Peace as well as social upliftment.
